Inqilab, Arabic word for “flip”, metaphorically meaning to overthrow or rebel.
A magazine aiming to strip corrupt politicians from their glory using the power of satire - and Photo- shop - leaving them with nothing but their ugly wrinkles and rotten smirks. Our aim is to raise the voice of the people who have had more than enough, fearlessly showcasing the contrast between us and them. This is to honor the Lebanese people who took to the streets
on October 17th, 2019, and have relentlessly stayed there, building
a better Lebanon for its citizens,
all of its citizens. We celebrate the youth and the children, the rich and the poor, the women and the men, and everyone in between, who have given us, for the first time, a glimpse of hope.
